Tuition, room, board, instructional materials and costs of program activities are provided through the Pennsylvania Department of Education* for all students who are selected to participate. Families are responsible for students’ transportation to and from the programs, health care costs, pocket money for personal needs, damages to program and host institution property incurred by the student, and for a residential life deposit which is returned if all conditions are met at the end of the program. In turn, students are expected to remain on campus for the full five weeks of the program. Absences from campus are not allowed. Students are expected to arrive promptly for and participate in all classes and program activities.
* Funding for the Governor’s School for Health Care is provided by the Department of Health.
