The Application Portfolio: First Level of Competition
1. The portfolio should contain up to 10 still black and white and/or color photographic works, produced using a traditional camera and/or digital equipment. Films and videos are not acceptable.
2. The photographs should demonstrate the range of your experiences and special interests as a photographer.
3. The photographs must be printed on photo-grade paper. Slides or pictures on CD are not acceptable.
4 The pictures should be mounted with care. Balance the composition carefully on the board. Label the back of the picture with your name. The work should not be framed.
5. Photographs should be clear of blemishes and haphazard framing, or extraneous detail that detracts from the composition, such as the unintentional inclusion of background clutter or utility wires.
6. Remember to include a list of the photographs in the portfolio, identifying for each the type of camera and lens used, how the picture was developed and by whom.
